I saw Dr. Alonzo today for hearing loss and really bad tinnitus. I’m at a loss for words to express how she improved my life in just one visit. I didn’t think anything would help the screaming in my ears! Dr. Alonzo did a hearing exam and then talked about how hearing aids could help. I was sceptical until I tried them on. When she turned them on, the relief was immediate! Not only could I hear crystal clear, but the tinnitus nearly went completely away. I am so very thankful to have found her and I’ll be forever grateful to her!
Dr Alonzo has done a wonderful job of working with me. She understands the distinct problems each patient has with hearing loss, proper fitting, and expectations of what hearing aids can do. I’m on my second pair of Widex hearing aids from Audiologic Services. The aids and the service are outstanding.

EXCELLENT: The Carol Stream location is EXCELLENT in service, fittings, working with insurance & appts. Melissa Siavelis listens to me as a patient and works to get things right. My in-the-canal fitting is a difficult one (as I’ve been to other services for over 10 years). She has been great with getting the fit so it is comfortable, and I can hear better than with my previous hearing aids. Melissa and her assistant, Gianna, are accomodating and understanding. They even skip their lunch to give you an appt. during a busy schedule. They also fill out all paperwork and submit it for insurance quickly. I drive 20 miles to this location when there are services 2 – 5 miles from home. They are GREAT!!! (And they did NOT ask me to write this!)
